Whatever your life choices …
YOUR career should reflect who YOU are!
So much is being said about gender equality. Everyone seems to ignore the fact that the top equalizer is higher education. In today’s world, compulsory education is the barest minimum. Without attaining a degree, men or women alike, cannot compete in the knowledge economy of the developed world. And the pay gap is made impossible where men and women are taught at exactly the same level, with no distinction, and no discrimination.
Saint Martin’s Institute of Higher Education understands its role of educating both sexes, rather than follow a stereotype built throughout decades of focusing on men as the breadwinners. We do not believe that women students have to lose their femininity to conform to male domination and are conditioned to act and behave in a men’s world!

Reaching the TOP whilst keeping your identity
At Saint Martin’s Institute of Higher Education we believe that education should focus on building upon the strengths of each individual, without necessarily forcing unnatural attributes on either of the sexes. Equality is measured only through knowledge, competence and skills that are absorbed in the classroom and expressed through the skills attained by the the individual, independent of the gender — and successful women, just like successful men, will reach the pinnacle of their career based solely on these attributes.
Gender equality must be inculcated in the lecture theaters of higher education, where young men and women absorb the same curriculum and participate in the same activities in their respective studies. At Saint Martin’s Institute of Higher Education, we make sure that students participate in competitions and activities as mixed groups, with diversity encouraged and personal traits encouraged to flourish. Some students coming from societies that still impose segregation illustrate confusion in how they are expected to act in a mixed group where decision making needs to be equally borne. And this does not apply solely to foreigners — students who have been brought up in segregated schools tend to find difficulty in accepting their role in such work groups that mimic the modern work place.
