Saint Martin’s Institute of Higher Education, a Recognised Teaching Centre for the University of London and licensed by the Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (license 196) is extending its portfolio of degrees and is hiring academic staff on full-time or part-time basis to teach various advanced subject areas and join faculty in the Business Entrepreneurship & Finance Department.
Subject Areas
The Institute is looking for candidates to join its faculty in the fields of Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Mathematics & Statistics at MQF level 6 as follows;
Accounting — Accounting Theory, Financial reporting, Corporate Finance
Economics — Macroeconomics, Managerial Economics, Micro Economics
Finance-Asset Pricing, Financial Markets, Investment Management
Human Resources Management
Marketing Management-Market Research, Digital Marketing, Consumer Behaviour & International Marketing
Mathematics & Statistics
Full Time or Part Time
Preference is given to candidates who are seeking to build a career as a full-time academic, researching and teaching a small portfolio of courses to full time and evening students.
Applicants who are willing to offer teaching on a part-time basis are encouraged to show their interest, and highlight whether they are available to teach during the day and/or evening.
Are you the right candidate for the job?
The selected candidate/s will be able to show a strong background in Economics, Finance and Mathematics with a good first degree and a post-graduate degree at MQF level 7 in a related field of study. The selected candidates will be knowledgeable and confident in the subject to follow detailed syllabi set by the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), a member of the University of London.
The Institute expects academic staff to have a collegial attitude and work as a team with excellent communication and organisation skills. Saint Martin’s Institute prides itself as a student-centred institution and prospective lecturers must be flexible in their response to mentor students at individual level.
Academic staff in this department are given the opportunity to develop their knowledge through support material and vast library access provided by the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), the lead college within the University of London for this department.
