JavaScript and Object-oriented Patterns
Learn how to develop better interactive web pages!
JavaScript
By today’s standards, websites need to be more dynamic and include interactive effects. This is a necessity to attain a good level of user experience, achieved through manipulation of appearance, size, number and shape of the components on a web page. JavaScript has also become and integral and essential part of web technology and extends to different platforms including desktop applications and mobile apps. The language interacts with both HTML and CSS as a mixture to provide the right level of user experience.
What will you learn in during this course?
The focus of this course is to learn the JavaScript programming language as well as the way in which object-oriented patterns are uniquely adopted to JavaScript. An introduction of the JQuery library is provided along with ways how to use it for in-browser manipulation of the Document Object Model (DOM) as well as event handling. The common notations (JSON) used to exchange data between front scripts (JS) and server-side scripting such as (PHP, JAVA) are also taught with practical examples to get you started on developing your e-commerce, or business websites.
Is this course for you?
This course is aimed for those who have already gained knowledge of using HTML5 and CSS3 to create static web pages. The course covers the latest standards used in JavaScript and JQuery. Knowledge of any other Object-oriented Programming language and Boostrap, although not required, is helpful in order to quickly understand the basics covered at the beginning of the course.
